My family have now given a small contribution to a greener environment. I have cancelled my subscription to the local newspaper, Aftenposten, which save about ten kilograms of paper every week. In addition to being environmentally friendly, I realised I read all daily news on-line anyway.
I have also put a sticker on my post box saying ”Unaddressed mail, no thanks”. Every year about 45 kilograms of unaddressed mail is distributed to every household in Norway. This sums up to about 90.000 tons of paper every year. I hope that with this sticker I can save a small bit of forest, and if everyone else does the same we can save a lot.

Welcome to the official opening of my blog! This blog was started after inspiration from my colleague Eirik Solheim at NRK. Check out his fantastic blog here: eirikso.com.
